Wow it's been such a long time since I've uploaded a card here I've almost forgotten how! The first card I've made in such a long time. This was made for a family friend who recently celebrated her 21 Birthday :)

Magnolia Down Under - Sketch Challenge

Good Morning All and Happy Easter!

Time for the next challenge at Magnolia Down Under and this week we have a fabulous Sketch Challenge for you.

I used this sketch to create an Engagement Card for one of my husband's workmates. The image I chose was Bonny Tilda from the Magnolia With Love Collection 2013.

Tilda is coloured with copics and I've added stickles to her wings and bow (which in hindsight maybe wasn't such a great idea but it's not coming off!) My papers are from Pion Designs, Flowers, Ribbon Binding, Lace and Heart Shaped Pearls from Wild Orchid Crafts, the metal embellishments I've had forever and was please to be able to used this door knocker. The Congratulations Sentiment is a Rub-On and the names Bec and Jeremy were computer generated.

I hope the Easter Bunny found you this morning, we always going camping with friends at Easter while my parents housesit and mind our fourlegged family member - so thanks Mum and Dad. Enjoy your long weekend and stay safe if travelling!

Thanks for stopping by,

Magnolia Down Under - Inspiration Picture

Good Morning All,

Time for another Magnolia Down Under Challenge and this week we have this pretty inspirational picture for you!

I've made a step-easel card for this challenge and it was inspired by similiar creations by to other very talented MDUC DT's - you can see examples of step-easel cards by Denise and Camilla on their blogs.

I've used three of the new Magnolia Stamps from the Little Easter 2013 Collection - Happy Easter Background, Tilda Hiding Easter Egg and Tilda with Chicken and Eggs.

On the top section of the card my images are coloured with copics and I've used some chalk on the Happy Easter Background. I've also tried some puff-paint on the tail and ears of Tilda Hiding Easter Egg but it hasn't photograped very well :( I found some cute little button brads that I've had forever and added them to Tilda's Bunny Suit

The middle section of the card features Tilda with Chicken and Egg and I've used a Memory Box die called Spring Border, coloured the flowers with copics added some dimensional magic and attached it with foam dots.

The sentiment was computer generated and I've used the Spellbinder Tag from the Fancy Tags Three set.
The papers are from a 6x6 paperpade called Boffle from Do Crafts.

I'd like to enter my card in these challenges:-
Totally Tilda Challenge - Easter (Tilda & at least 1 Egg)
Papertake Weekly Challenge - 123 (1 Doily, 2 Tilda's and 3 Different Coloured Pearls Green, Yellow and Pink)
Simply Magnolia - Easter and Eggs Challenge

Magnolia Down Under - Especially For You

Good Morning Everyone,

Time for another challenge at Magnolia Down Under and this week our theme is "Especially For You". The timing of this challenge was just perfect for me as one of our friends is currently in hospital. Thinking of you Deb and so happy that you are now on the way to recovery :)

I've chosen to use Tilda with Wrapped Heart for my card today, she is coloured with copics and mounted on foam dots. My paper is from Pion Designs, the Flowers, Lace, Metal Corners, Pin and Ribbon are all available at Wild Orchid Crafts and the sentiment is computer generated.

The tag is stamped with a sentiment from Stempelglede Set and was a Secret Santa gift from one of my MDUC friends several years ago :)

Magnolia Down Under - Love is in the Air

Good Morning Everyone,

Time for our next challenge at Magnolia Down Under and of course with Valentine's Day approaching what better theme than "Love is in the Air"!

My step card is made using a template from Which Craft UK and my papers once again are from Pion Designs, love those small pretty prints.

This cute little Tilda is called Lonely Tilda with her Heart and is coloured with copics. The heart tag die is of course Magnolia also and all the other embellishments are from my stash with the flowers being Wild Orchid Crafts.

I hope you'll join us this week with your "Love" inspired creations!

Magnolia Down Under - Pink, Lace & Metal

Hi Everyone,

My apologies for the late Magnolia Down Under post but I've been having technical problems - still on going I'm afraid!

Before I get to my card I firstly have to say a big welcome to Alyce who has joined us at Magnolia Down Under, be sure to check out her first creation for the DT - it is amazing :)

This week at Magnolia Down Under our challenge is to use the following combination Pink, Lace and Metal. It was my Mum's birthday yesterday so I chose to make a card for her. She enjoying Patchwork so I've chosen to use Tailor Tilda this week combined with this cute Tim Holtz Sewing Edge Die.

Tilda is coloured with copics and I've paper pieced her sewing material. The papers are from Pion Designs, the lace and other embellishments were in my stash.

My metal element is this cute little sewing machine along with the brad on the scissors!

Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you've all enjoyed the holiday period - I know I certainly have :)

Magnolia Down Under - Anything Goes

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to our very last Magnolia Down Under Challenge for 2012!
Sorry for the late post but I've had a little computer trouble here, thanks to my teenage sons. I really don't know why they need to touch my computer when they have their own :(

This bauble was part of my Secret Santa gift to my MDUC Team Mate the gorgeous Debbie Pamment and I was so carried away getting it in the mail to her that I forgot to take a pic for the challenge! Luckily Deb is such a good sport she kindly provided me with these photos :)

Our theme this challenge is Anything Goes and you'll have until 12 January to enter while we take a little break to enjoy Christmas!

This is the back of the bauble:-

Wishing you all a Happy Holiday period with your family and friends and looking forward to seeing you in 2013 :)

Magnolia Down Under - Christmas Bingo

Good Morning Everyone,

Can you believe Christmas is only just over two weeks away? We only started our Christmas shopping today and I'm way behing in my cardmaking too... in fact barely started :(

For those of you like me who are a little behind we have a fabulous Christmas Bingo card for you at Magnolia Down Under this week!

I've chosen to use Snowflakes, Glitter/Stickles and DooHickey Dies. I've also gone with a non traditional colour scheme for something a little different. My papers are from the Maja Designs 6x6 pad called It's Christmas Time. All the embellishments were in my stash and I'm really pleased with the glittery gold ribbon - it really has a great effect and lifts the card.

For the bingo challenge the snowflakes are on my background paper, I've used stickles on my image halo, wings and wand, and used the border DooHickey die. Tilda was coloured with copics.

I hope you'll join our challenge this week, the DT as usual have some gorgeous creations to inspire you with and you'll have a chance a winning our fabulous prize from Stampin Tilda!

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by,
